On Nov. 2, 2026, witnessed by the leaders of China and Oman, National Data
Administration Director Liu Liehong and the head of Oman's Ministry of
Transport, Communications and Information Technology signed a memorandum of
understanding to strengthen cooperation on the digital economy. The agreement
covers digital economy and digital transformation, IT industry development,
talent training and capacity building, support for tech startups and SMEs, and
legislation, strategy and policy in the data and digital-economy domain.
