Early Tuesday, Gulf equities were mixed. Iran said talks with Saudi Arabia
continue, but a US strike on Iran’s Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz
heightened escalation concerns in the eight‑month conflict. Saudi benchmark fell
0.2%, weighed by Al Rajhi Bank down 0.4%; ARAMCO, despite reporting a sharp rise
in Q3 profit, slipped 0.2%. Qatar’s benchmark dropped 1.0%, with most components
lower and Qatar National Bank (QNB), the Gulf’s largest lender, down 1.3%.
Dubai’s main index rose 0.6%, led by Emaar Properties up 1.6%; Abu Dhabi gained
0.3%.
