On the eve of the election, U.S. House Speaker Johnson told a campaign rally in
Virginia's 2nd congressional district that polls are "inaccurate," likening
current prospects to 2024 when Republicans swept the White House, Senate and
House. Speaking with former Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin at a Monday-night event
for Rep. Jen Kiggans, Johnson urged turnout and warned small margins decide
outcomes, noting 10 races in the last cycle were won by 6,000 votes or fewer.
