Media and entertainment led gains; wind-power and aviation names also advanced. Compute-power hardware was pressured; optical communications, PCB and other hardware subsectors were among the biggest decliners. Oil shipping underperformed. Zhongji Xuchuang said on a conference call that XPO progress is relatively fast; it demonstrated an XPO solution at OFC 2026, will send samples for customer testing, and expects demand to emerge in 2027. Other new-technology solutions still require time to scale.
