Taobao Flash Sale began mid-October grey testing of its premium at-home dining project "Home Feast" in Beijing, covering six brands and 18 stores in the first wave. The rollout follows tests in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu and Shenzhen, bringing national coverage to 27 brands and more than 50 stores. Beijing's cohort includes four brands new to the test and adds Beijing outlets from two previously participating brands. Partner selection is based on brand quality and industry standing; Taobao co-develops delivery-specific menus with food experts, screens dishes for delivery suitability, redesigns menus and confirms taste through multiple delivery trials before listing.
