Hyoung-il will closely monitor US AI-related policy and regulatory changes
following the midterm elections. After a meeting with key economic policymakers,
the ministry added it will also watch for shifts in US tariff policy and
developments in the Middle East, and that authorities will prepare for potential
financial-market volatility and respond to external shocks to help maintain
stable economic growth.
