China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said it will advance
safe, orderly development of the low‑altitude equipment industry, with safety as
the primary constraint and enhanced UAV safety risk controls at the
manufacturing end. The ministry will accelerate construction of legal,
regulatory and standards frameworks and prioritize innovation in unmanned
operations, electrification, connectivity and intelligence to drive deeper
tech‑industry integration and build an advanced, applicable low‑altitude product
system. It will also push scenario pilots under a cargo‑before‑passenger,
segregated‑before‑integrated, suburban‑before‑urban sequence to cultivate
replicable benchmark cases that accelerate equipment iteration and upgrades.
