Nov 6 — Novartis showcased investigational immunology drug Ianalumab at the 9th China International Import Expo, presenting clinical progress in Sjögren’s syndrome and marking the drug’s first China exhibition. Gao Rong, head of Novartis drug development in China, said the company is positioning China as a global first‑launch market for its breakthrough therapies.

China's second domestically built large cruise ship, Aida Huacheng, was delivered in Shanghai on the 6th, marking a move from a single-ship breakthrough to serial construction of large cruise vessels. The 341‑metre ship has 2,130 cabins and capacity for more than 5,200 passengers; large cruise ships, aircraft carriers and LNG carriers are cited as key benchmarks of national shipbuilding capability.
