Cai Qi, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee and secretary of the
Central Secretariat, met in Beijing on the 6th with a Workers' Party of Korea
delegation led by Kim Song-nam, a WPK Politburo member, Central Secretary and
head of the International Department. Cai said China is willing to work with N.
Korea to implement the consensus of the two countries' top leaders, strengthen
high‑level guidance, deepen exchanges on party governance, broaden cooperation
across sectors, and tighten strategic communication and coordination to support
both countries' socialist undertakings and promote regional peace, stability and
prosperity.
