China's foreign exchange reserves stood at US$3.405 trillion at the end of
October 2026, up US$4.9 billion (0.14%) from end‑September, the State
Administration of Foreign Exchange said. SAFE said a stronger US dollar and
mixed global asset returns in October meant exchange‑rate translation and
asset‑price movements increased reserve levels; broadly stable domestic economic
activity supported overall reserve stability.
