On Nov 6 UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported 155 maritime security incidents linked to the US‑Iran conflict within its voluntary reporting area so far this year. As of Nov 6 the office has issued 166 security alerts and 22 security advisories year‑to‑date. UKMTO said it continues to monitor security in the Middle East and adjacent key shipping lanes and issues risk warnings to transiting merchant vessels.
