Qatari PM says the US government remains willing to seek a solution even after the midterm elections.

Times of Israel on Nov. 6, citing Channel 12, reported Prime Minister Netanyahu and close aides — including Mossad chief Gofman — allegedly plotted a secret operation against Iran timed for the eve of Israel’s Oct. 27 election. Senior Israeli security officials reportedly opposed the plan over escalation and the risk of disrupting the vote, but the operation reportedly advanced until a security officer’s error alerted the US; Washington then intervened to stop it. The Prime Minister’s Office denied the report, saying Netanyahu had clarified there was no plan to strike before the election.
