island; authorities have not confirmed the source. Semi-official Tasnim agency
earlier said two missiles struck Qeshm, though no official damage assessment has
been released. The incidents follow U.S. strikes on Qeshm in recent days; a U.S.
official described that strike as limited and not indicative of a return to
large-scale operations. U.S. strikes were paused by Trump ahead of the midterms,
and Iran has warned it would hit U.S. and Israeli targets in neighboring
countries if attacked again.
