China’s energy and chemical futures collectively advanced, with butadiene rubber and LPG hitting daily limits. Benzene and styrene gained over 9%, propylene, polypropylene, plastics and ethylene glycol rose more than 8%, PX, methanol, PTA and PVC were up over 7%, short fiber and SC crude climbed more than 5%, while caustic soda, fuel oil and PET flakes rose over 4%, asphalt gained more than 3%, and urea and glass were up over 2%.
