The White House said China agreed to delay Donald Trump’s planned visit to
Beijing, originally scheduled within two weeks, with a new date yet to be set.
Trump cited demands from the Iran conflict, indicating the trip could occur in
five to six weeks. China’s embassy in Washington said both sides will maintain
communication, emphasizing the role of head-of-state diplomacy in guiding
bilateral relations.
