Russia proposed to the US that it would stop sharing intelligence with Iran,
including US military coordinates in the Middle East, if Washington ceased
providing Ukraine with intel. The US rejected the offer, but European diplomats
expressed concern that Moscow aims to drive a wedge between Europe and the US.
The Kremlin has expanded military cooperation with Iran, supplying satellite
imagery and drone technology. US intelligence support to Ukraine continues under
NATO-led arrangements despite the proposal and ongoing tensions over Middle East
conflicts.
