Jamie Dimon said the Iran war poses short-term risks but could improve prospects
for lasting Middle East peace over time, speaking at a Washington conference
with Mike Gallagher. He cited a shift in regional attitudes, noting that Saudi
Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, the US and Israel now seek durable peace. Dimon linked
stability to economic outcomes, warning foreign direct investment would stall
without it, stating, “They all want it,” and “They can’t have neighbors lobbing
ballistic missiles into their data centers.”
