China’s consumer prices rose 1.0% YoY in March, while CPI fell 0.7% MoM due to seasonal demand easing after the Lunar New Year, the National Bureau of Statistics said. Core CPI, excluding food and energy, increased 1.1% from a year earlier. Producer prices rose 0.5% YoY, turning positive, and increased 1.0% MoM, supported by rising global commodity prices and improving domestic supply-demand conditions.
