President Donald Trump said Israel and Lebanon agreed to a 10-day ceasefire starting 5 p.m. New York time, following talks with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The truce could ease tensions linked to a separate US-Iran ceasefire. Fighting between Israel and Iran-backed Hezbollah had threatened that arrangement.
