to a new high and the Dow advanced 1.79%. Major tech stocks broadly climbed,
with Tesla up over 3%, Apple and Broadcom gaining more than 2%, and Nvidia,
Alphabet, and Meta each rising over 1%. On the geopolitical front, President
Donald Trump said US and Iranian negotiators will likely meet this weekend and
could finalize a deal to end the war. A senior administration official also
indicated talks are expected Monday in Pakistan, with Trump’s negotiating team
on standby.
