China’s major futures contracts were mixed at midday, with palm oil and urea
rising over 3%. Coke, soybean No.1 and polysilicon gained more than 2%, while
caustic soda, alumina, soybean oil and soybean No.2 rose 2%.
On the downside, lithium carbonate, silver and live hogs fell over 2%, while
aluminum alloy, aluminum, benzene, platinum, gold and styrene dropped more than
1%.
