US stocks surged to fresh record highs on Wednesday, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq
Composite both rising over 1%. The Nasdaq led with a 1.6% gain, followed by the
S&P 500’s 1.05% increase. The rally was fueled by President Trump’s extension of
the ceasefire with Iran, as well as earnings reports, notably from Boeing.
Investors are now awaiting Tesla's upcoming results. Oil prices also spiked,
with Brent crude surpassing $100 a barrel amid rising tensions in the Strait of
Hormuz.
