Nestlé SA reported first-quarter organic sales growth of 3.5%, driven by strong
demand for snacks and coffee, helping offset the impact of its largest-ever
product recall. The maker of Nespresso and KitKat also said it will sell its
Blue Bottle Coffee chain to Centurium Capital Partners, confirming earlier
reports. Nestlé has started discussions with potential partners for its water
and beverages division and is exploring buyers for its underperforming vitamin
business.
