Intel and Advanced Micro Devices have raised CPU prices by up to 20% in 2026,
with consumer chips up 5–10% in the past month and server CPUs rising 10–20%
since March. Intel has already implemented two hikes, while AMD plans additional
increases for server chips in Q2 and Q3 totaling about 16–17%. Tight supply is
driven by AI demand and competition for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.
3nm capacity, including from Nvidia Corp.. Lead times have extended to up to six
months for Intel and 8–12 weeks for AMD, with constraints expected through
2026–2027. (China's Commercial Times)
