It also called for supporting consumption through services upgrades, stabilising the property market and agricultural prices, and resolving local government debt risks in an orderly way. The meeting emphasised maintaining manufacturing’s role in the economy, deepening a crackdown on “involution-style” competition, strengthening energy security, and fully implementing the “AI+” initiative to develop an intelligent economy while responding to external challenges.
