Intelligence directly into the Camera app. The feature will let users point the
camera at objects and get AI-generated information via tools like ChatGPT or
image search.
Visual AI functions such as object identification, poster-to-calendar
conversion, and data extraction will be expanded, along with new abilities like
scanning nutrition labels and capturing contact details. The upgrade is part of
Apple’s broader push to embed AI across iOS ahead of new hardware launches.
