The White House is inviting senior executives including Elon Musk of Tesla, Tim
Cook of Apple, and Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, along with leaders from Goldman
Sachs, Blackstone, BlackRock, Citigroup, and Meta, to accompany President Donald
Trump on his trip to China for a summit with President Xi Jinping. A White House
official said the delegation of more than a dozen executives is expected to
pursue potential business deals and purchase agreements with Beijing during the
visit.
