President Donald Trump said the US expects Iran’s economy to collapse under pressure from a blockade of its ports, arguing the conflict will resolve without urgency. Speaking on radio, he said Iran is being cut off from revenue and claimed US strikes have weakened its military leadership and capabilities. Trump added he is confident Iran will be prevented from developing a nuclear weapon, saying: “It’s just a question of time.”
