China's Ministry of Emergency Management published the revised 'Standards for Determining Major Coal Mine Hazards' as the basis for hazard determinations, enumerating 17 specific major coal-mine hazards — including production exceeding design capacity, structural limits or authorized staffing; operations exceeding gas limits; and over-seam or boundary-crossing mining. The standard takes effect July 1.
