According to Suzhou Daily, on May 27 Jiangsu Provincial Party Standing Committee member and Suzhou Municipal Party Secretary Fan Bo met with UK-China Trade Association chairman Wu Sitian and his delegation. Fan said Suzhou and the UK have deep economic and trade ties and urged the UK-China Trade Association to act as a bridge to actively promote more British investment in Suzhou, jointly raise the capability of open platforms such as the China‑UK Economic and Trade Cooperation Innovation Port, deepen exchanges and cooperation in areas including artificial intelligence and services, and work together to expand new space for two‑way investment cooperation.
