WGc-043, the world’s first EBV-associated tumor therapeutic mRNA vaccine, has
been put into clinical use in Boao Lecheng, Hainan. The vaccine was developed by
the team at West China Hospital, Sichuan University and advanced to
translational deployment by Chengdu Weisijin Biotech; it targets EBV-positive
lymphoma and nasopharyngeal carcinoma and, developers say, fills a global gap in
mRNA precision therapy for EBV-positive tumors.
