Industrial output of Guangdong enterprises above designated size rose 3.9% YoY in Jan–Apr. By sector, mining +16.3% YoY, manufacturing +3.3%, and electricity/heat/gas/water production and supply +6.0%; power and heat production and supply expanded 10.1% YoY, 0.7 ppt faster than Q1. By industry, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing +12.7%; electrical machinery and equipment +3.4% (battery manufacturing +12.8%); special-purpose equipment +8.1%; chemical raw materials and chemical products +5.3%. High‑tech product output led gains: industrial robots +32.3%, 3D printers +57.0%, integrated circuits +30.8%, memory/storage chips +50.8%. Selected consumer durables: household refrigerators +19.5%, washing machines +14.8%.

A-share baijiu sector continued to rally; Jiugui Liquor hit limit-up, while Jinshiyuan, Wushang Group, Yingjia Gongjiu and Kuaijishan also advanced.
