The Israel Defense Forces said on May 30 that HEZBOLLAH launched rockets at multiple towns in northern Israel. Some rockets were intercepted and others fell in open areas with no casualties. The IDF said HEZBOLLAH fired a “large number” of rockets overnight; one rocket struck and exploded in Kiryat Shmona, damaging a building but causing no injuries. Remaining rockets were intercepted by Israeli air defenses.
