Beijing Space Intelligent Computing Research Institute was registered in the
Beijing Economic‑Technological Development Area (Yizhuang). The institute will
target key common technologies — onboard compute chips, inter‑satellite laser
communications, space power and thermal management, integrated space‑ground
networks and space security standards — and will build an end‑to‑end service
chain covering R&D, pilot verification, on‑orbit testing and commercialization.
It plans to complete development and launch of a first test satellite by 2028
and to network multiple test satellites to trial‑operate a space‑ground
integrated intelligent computing network.
