Tianjin opened a municipal-level AI sensor industrial park on May 31. The first 10 firms signed on and the park inked multiple cooperation agreements covering industry innovation platforms, industry-education integration and financial support. Positioned as a Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei AI sensor cluster benchmark, phase one comprises 20 purpose-built buildings for the sensor industry, due for delivery in June 2027; phases two and three will add about 70,000 sq m of additional space, co-general manager Guo Huajian said.

Underlying architectures across BCI technical routes are largely established and solution choices are converging, while performance optimization remains in rapid iteration. Future competition will focus on five areas: electrode materials and architecture, chip design capability, system integration solutions, data accumulation and algorithms, and advances in brain‑science research and understanding. The "brain‑controls‑everything" concept expands addressable applications; deepening and diversification of use cases will be the core driver of long‑term industry growth.
