today that negotiations on a temporary peace accord will "turn out well", but
could face criticism if Washington agrees to unfreeze tens of billions of
dollars of Iranian funds at Tehran's request. These were his first comments
since a Friday White House war-room meeting where he said he would make a "final
decision"; he has since postponed that decision as talks continue over Iran's
highly enriched uranium stockpile and the logistics of reopening the Strait of
Hormuz, which may require demining.
