Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on June 1 that Hezbollah fired multiple rockets
from Lebanon into Israel. Israeli air defenses intercepted some; others fell
near IDF troops with no casualties reported. Hezbollah also launched a drone
from Lebanon that struck an Israeli position in northern Israel. The IDF warned
residents of Dahiyeh, a southern suburb of Beirut, to evacuate and said it would
respond by striking targets in Dahiyeh if Hezbollah continues firing at Israeli
towns.
