NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said he tries to pay employees as much as possible,
commenting on partner Samsung Electronics’ recent compensation deal that offers
chip engineers bonuses of up to $400,000. Huang said “I try to pay as much as
possible, and I do, but that doesn't mean it's right.” He dismissed claims that
AI threatens jobs as “nonsense,” saying AI will boost income, profits and GDP.
Samsung’s March filing shows average employee pay last year was 158 million won
(about $105,000).
