Statistics Indonesia said Indonesia exported 7.72 mln tonnes of crude and refined palm oil in January–April, while coal exports totaled 114.54 mln tonnes.

Facilities agriculture in eastern Heilongjiang, central‑eastern Jilin, Liaoning, most of Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, eastern Shanxi, northern Shandong and northern Henan faces elevated wind‑damage risk, potentially damaging greenhouses and plastic film covers. Winter wheat lodging risk is high in Beijing, Tianjin, eastern Shanxi, northern Shandong and northern Henan.

At midday close, China's main futures contracts were mostly higher. SHFE tin led gains, up more than 5%; palladium, methanol, platinum, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU), SHFE aluminum, international copper, LPG and plywood rose over 2%. On the downside, container-shipping Europe-route futures fell over 4%; lithium carbonate slipped nearly 4%; urea fell more than 2%.
