AXIOS, citing an OpenAI report, says knowledge workers comprise about one-fifth
of Codex users and are expanding at more than three times the pace of developer
users. OpenAI reports Codex now exceeds 4 mln weekly active users, a rise of
over 5x since the desktop app launched in February. Within the knowledge-worker
cohort, data-analysis tasks grew 110% WoW, research tasks grew 37%, and
knowledge-asset tasks grew 36%. More than 60% of users now perform multiple
Codex tasks in a day, up from under 50% in mid-April.
