Salesforce’s stake in Anthropic is valued at roughly $5bn after multiple follow-on investments. The software giant first backed Anthropic in early 2023 with about $50m and continued to invest in later rounds, people familiar with the matter said. Zoom Communications also profited from an early Anthropic investment, netting just over $1bn from its participation in Anthropic’s Series C in early 2023.
