Kuwaiti military said early on the 3rd its air defenses were intercepting incoming hostile missiles and drones and that any explosion sounds were the result of interceptions. Some media reported a US base in Kuwait was struck. Iranian media said alarms sounded over Bahrain and earlier reported explosions on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz.
