ABC, citing U.S. officials and another person familiar, reported President Trump is demanding Tehran put specific nuclear concessions in writing as part of a preliminary deal to break the long-running U.S.-Iran impasse. Sources said Iranian negotiators had previously given verbal assurances they would ultimately accept certain terms affecting Iran’s nuclear program; at a White House Situation Room meeting last Friday Trump judged those pledges insufficient.
