ARAMCO vice president for market analysis and sustainability said refining capacity fell by 3 mln bpd between 2020 and 2023, exacerbating system strains in the current crisis.

At a June 2 investment conference in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone, BYD vice president Luo Zhongliang said the company has launched its "Flash Charge China" strategy and plans to build 20,000 fast-charging stations by end-2026. He said BYD's Shenshan industrial park Phase I is fully ramped, Phase II output is rising, and Phases III–IV entered production last year; BYD's second-generation Blade battery, released in March, is being produced at Shenshan.
