Chinese automaker BYD said it is developing humanoid robots. Executive Vice President Li Ke said competition will hinge on manufacturing, software and hardware capabilities and that BYD’s automotive AI has commonality with robotics; if robots become suitable for household use, BYD could sell them through its dealership network.
