Large industrial tariff customers must adopt TOU year‑round (excludes users covered by national special provisions such as electrified railway traction). General industrial and commercial tariff customers may opt into TOU; once selected the option is fixed for 12 months. TOU multipliers versus the flat/base rate are set at peak:high peak:flat:low valley:deep valley = 2.05:1.85:1:0.4:0.2.
