The Shenzhen Stock Exchange issued a query letter to Shenzhen Weiteou New Materials Co. after a recent sharp share rise, noting abnormal volatility on May 20 and a daily-limit up on June 4. The exchange flagged frequent roadshows from Apr 25–May 21 (seven investor-relations records) and repeated Q&A references to optical modules and advanced packaging. It asked the company to disclose: the amount of solder paste required at each optical-module production stage, corresponding unit prices and amounts, and share of module price; and for each of the company’s main products, their application in the three production stages, the main customers by stage, sales in the past year and in the most recent reporting period, gross margin, and order backlog amount.

China A-share copper cable and high-speed connector sector jumped in an afternoon intraday rally: Dingtong Technology hit the 20% limit, Yidong Electronics rose over 14%, Xinke Materials earlier hit limit-up, and Jin Xinnuo, AVIC Optoelectronics and Yihua Co. also advanced.
