At the midday close, China's most-active futures were mostly lower. Shanghai tin
fell more than 5%; synthetic rubber dropped over 4%. Palm oil, red dates and
rapeseed oil declined more than 3%. Palladium, soda ash and glass were down over
2%. On the upside, coking coal rose over 2%, while rapeseed, starch, lithium
carbonate, peanuts and corn gained more than 1%.
