A CSRC spokesperson said the General Office of the State Council’s Guiding
Opinions on strengthening supervision to prevent risks and promote high-quality
development of private investment funds is the directional, foundational
document in the sector’s 1+N+X framework. The CSRC will implement Central and
State Council decisions, draft and execute a three-year action plan to put the
Guiding Opinions into effect, and coordinate with macro policy bodies,
state-asset and industry supervisors, financial regulators, public security and
local governments to tighten responsibilities and ensure measures are
implemented.
