The State Council appointed Ding Xiangqun as director of the National Financial
Regulatory Administration. It also named Liu Sushe vice minister of culture and
tourism and Hong Zongming vice minister of veterans affairs. The State Council
removed Liu Sushe as deputy director of the National Development and Reform
Commission; Chen Jiachang as vice minister of science and technology; Ma
Feixiong as vice minister of veterans affairs; Zhang Yuzhuo as director of the
State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC); and Han
Dong as deputy director of the National Radio and Television Administration.
